RELX devices upgrades and spare parts (v24)
RELX devices advice for Bahamas, covering budget options, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Budget matters in Bahamas, but with relx devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. The Deep Purple finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
We spent weeks putting relx devices options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Vapour production is more than adequate at 30, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying.
Comparing this against a 70:30 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 6.5 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 1373 full puffs from a charge at 20 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing.
The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense. In Bahamas, availability of the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself.
Delivery across Bahamas is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The build quality on Freemax Maxus is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. Build quality is the quiet differentiator here, with tight seams and a connector that has not loosened after repeated removal.
Worth noting that the Q-Plus takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For nic salt users, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge. If you take one thing from this page, make it the coil compatibility check. A device that needs a coil you cannot source locally becomes an expensive ornament within a month.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Cherry Lime Soda: sweet, tart, described as red cherry with a lime lift. On a 70:30 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Bahamas
Availability in Bahamas is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the Q-Plus matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and BSD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
If any of the above addresses what you were trying to solve, the rest of the pages in this section cover it in more detail.
