Bahamas RELX devices buying advice, noob (AEKU Slim)
RELX devices advice for Bahamas, covering cost factors, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Budget matters in Bahamas, but with relx devices the cheapest option is rarely the one that lasts. For budget shoppers, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
There is no single best relx devices for everyone in Bahamas, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Forest Green finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The build quality on SMOK Nord is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry. What surprised us most was how little the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 40:60 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber.
We would pair the SMOK Nord with a 40:60 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Delivery across Bahamas is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
In Bahamas, availability of the 0.2 Ω dual mesh coil is the practical bottleneck, not the device itself. The wide bore mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 40:60 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Grape Frost Breeze: sweet, fruity, described as dark grape with a cool, brisk finish. On a 40:60 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.2 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Bahamas
Availability in Bahamas is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.2 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and BSD rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Take the time to get it right the first time; the difference shows up over months of use rather than days.
